Do you need help doing your taxes? The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) services provided by the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law helps Penn State community members properly prepare their annual federal and state income tax returns free of charge. The VITA program operates until mid-April, Monday through Saturday in Room 10, Ferguson Building. Please refer to their schedule page for precise dates, locations and hours.
The AARP also offers help with Federal, Pennsylvania State, Tax and Rent Rebates and Local taxes every Tuesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Sun Room at Schlow Library from February 10 through April 9. Call Community Help Centre for more information or to make an appointment at 814-237-5855 or 800-494-2500. For taxpayers with low- and middle-income, with special attention to those age 60 and older.
